2008 marks the Taiwanese breakthrough in the St. Louis settlement by donating the one-of-a-kind Taiwanese innovative Pterosaur kit to the St. Louis Science Center.

2008年已經刻劃出台灣人在聖路易透過捐贈一隻台灣人獨創的翼手龍風箏給聖路易科學中心而展現出聖路易台灣人移居史上的一項重大突破。
The spirit of Taiwanese reflected in the donation of the Pterosaur kite is capsulated in this old Taiwanese saying here:

Then, do it ourself!

We would like to continue and extend such spirit of Taiwan and St. Louis in our gatherings. We plan to use Taiwan music as material to play DIY game of talk show. You might not have seen anything like this. It is more than the games of trivia.

Purposes:

  1. Develop repeatable entertainment activities for the TAA-STL.

  2. Disseminate the visions of TAA-STL through entertainment.

  3. Facilitate the growth and progress in the ability and skills of the participants applicable to the livelihood, career, cultural heritance and grass-root diplomacy, etc,

  4. Develop and increase the attraction and cohereance of TAA-STL

  5. Identify leaders and cultivate leadership

 我們打算在同鄉會聚會中持續這樣的精神與聖路易特色。我們打算用台灣音樂作題材玩「自己想」的脫口秀遊戲。你可能沒有看過這樣的團體遊戲。這比慣見的猜謎、益智遊戲更豐富、好玩、易玩。

目的

  1. 研發同鄉會例行聚會中可常進行的娛樂節目

  2. 宣導同鄉會理念

  3. 促成鄉親在生活上、事業上、文化傳承上以及國民外交上的進步

  4. 產生同鄉會獨特的吸引力與凝聚力

  5. 發掘、培養領導人才
